SQL Server Database Administrator

You will manage and optimize SQL Server environments to ensure data integrity, security, and high availability. Responsibilities Design and refine conceptual, logical, and physical database models to meet storage and accessibility requirements. Manage high availability through log shipping, clustering, mirroring, and replication (snapshot and transactional). Execute performance tuning by analyzing query plans and optimizing stored procedures. Implement security protocols including Active Directory and LDAP integration, user locking, and access monitoring. Develop and test backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in SQL Server and Database Administration. Hands-on experience with Clustering and Mirroring. Proficiency in Log shipping and Replication (Snapshot and Transactional). Expertise in database design, normalization, and physical storage optimization. Experience with security management, including Active Directory and LDAP integration. Ability to analyze query plans and perform performance optimization for queries and stored procedures. Proven experience in managing backup, restore, and data recovery planning.
