As a Program Manager at BorgWarner, your role is crucial in ensuring the program meets project cost, timing, and quality commitments. You will be responsible for effective communication, collaboration, and Cross-Functional Team alignment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide program management for customer programs, overseeing product launches effectively and ensuring vigilant cost containment. - Develop detailed project plans, monitor project progress, and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure on-time delivery. - Lead the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) to identify and assess program risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure proactive risk communication. - Utilize a methodical approach to problem-solving, challenge team members for innovative solutions, and maintain a focus on achieving goals efficiently. - Manage program budgets effectively, optimize project plans, and coordinate resources within the program's scope. - Monitor the process, control deliverables status, handle inquiries promptly, manage conflicts respectfully, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. - Lead the preparation of EOT Workbook, produce accurate reports of program status, and ensure all program documentation is complete and regularly updated. - Identify improvement opportunities, encourage innovation, benchmark best practices, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, facilitate stakeholder meetings, negotiate to resolve conflicts, and ensure program success. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. - 5+ years of work experience in sales, product, manufacturing, or quality engineering. - 3+ years of project management experience, certification with IPMP-C+ & PMP is a plus. - Strong focus on timing, cost, and quality. - Demonstrated knowledge of program management, planning & timing, risk and conflict management, problem-solving, and customer communication. - Fluent in English.
