Would you like to turn your ideas into useful and meaningful technologies? Whether in Mobility Solutions, Consumer Goods, Industrial Technology or Energy and Building Technology - with us you will improve the quality of life of people all over the world. Welcome to Bosch.

Ready to combine the power of hydraulics with the intelligence of software? We are looking for tech-savvy master’s graduates with a drive to make a difference, who will digitalize the future of mobile hydraulics with us in our Junior Managers Program. If you are excited by the symbiosis of high-performance mechanics and smart electronics, think strategically, and want to build an outstanding leadership career in a highly technological industry, we want to hear from you. Over an intensive 12 to 24-month journey, you will rotate through the key areas of our mobile hydraulics organization in Germany and abroad. Your mission: drive the development of future-proof, digital control systems for hydraulic systems and thereby redefine the efficiency and intelligence of mobile working machinery. You will work on and lead high-impact projects, receive guidance from experienced executives, and gain practical experience with the latest technologies that are already redefining our industry. What you will learn and develop with us: You will learn how to optimize the performance of high-pressure hydraulics through intelligent, digital control electronics and software to elevate efficiency and precision to a new level.

You will shape the next generation of digital controls for hydraulic pumps and motors by designing new control algorithms and software architectures.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams from design, testing, and software development to create highly innovative and robust products for a global market, while working alongside your personal top-management mentor to help you combine your technical know-how with strategic leadership skills.

Your academic foundation: An outstanding (full-time) Master's degree, Diploma, or ideally a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics (with a focus on control engineering), or Engineering Sciences with a specialization in fluid power or hydraulics—specifically in the area of hydraulic pumps and systems. Additional experience in control engineering, simulation (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Amesim), and system modeling is a major advantage.

Your passion for mechatronic systems:

Your goal is to evaluate the technical and commercial feasibility of a new product generation of hydrostatic displacement units and lead them all the way to series production readiness. Your eye for the bigger picture:

You find it fascinating to analyze global markets, identify target applications and potential customers for future hydraulic system architectures, and evaluate market volumes, substitution risks, and new business opportunities. Your understanding of human-centric leadership:

You live by the conviction that outstanding results only emerge by empowering people. Utilizing emotional intelligence and empathy, you foster an environment where interdisciplinary teams unlock their full potential and succeed together. You think strategically and shape the future:

You recognize the big picture and derive critical technical KPIs from market requirements. You bring strong analytical skills to explore the boundaries of the existing portfolio (e.g., regarding controllers, power units, positioning systems) and define the necessary innovation leaps. You possess the understanding required to develop and evaluate technical solution concepts for high-performance 2Q axial piston pumps. Your continuous development:

In our dynamic environment, you leverage your ability to learn quickly every day, continuously developing yourself—a growth mindset that we actively support and nurture. Your language proficiency:

You communicate fluently in English (negotiation level) and possess a strong command of the German language to navigate confidently within both our international and local environments.

Why you will love being part of our community We are deeply invested in the growth of our team members. We have created an environment where you are supported, valued, and empowered to do your best work. Mentoring & Sponsoring: An executive-level mentor will accompany you on your journey, actively support your development, and open doors for your next career steps with us.

A culture of belonging: From day one, you will become part of a global community of trainees from diverse backgrounds and locations. Build authentic connections beyond formal projects through virtual hangouts, local meetups, or our (global) trainee summits.

Flexible & hybrid working: We trust you to manage your work in a way that fits your life, with a flexible start date and a permanent employment contract. We offer a hybrid model that combines office and remote collaboration.

Continuous learning: Benefit from up to 6 rotations across different departments, including an international rotation, supported by a generous budget for your professional development (courses, certifications, and conferences).
