BI&A Visualization Associate

Role Overview: As a Data Visualization Associate at Boston Consulting Group, you will be part of a team that is transforming BCG into a bionic company by maturing the centralized Business Intelligence & Analytics function. Your main responsibility will be to develop, enhance, and maintain a suite of dashboard products that will be leveraged globally by business leaders and executive teams. Working as an integral part of an Agile team, you will interact with the business to understand use cases, create prototypes, and iterate on the design and launch of digital reporting and analytic products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboard products used globally by business leaders and executive teams - Interact with the business to understand use cases, create prototypes, and iterate on design and launch of digital reporting and analytic products - Design, develop, implement, and support dashboard reporting solutions - Support an analytics transformation by providing next-generation solutions that simplify the end-user experience while providing greater insights - Design and implement report security solutions within Tableau Cloud and database-level security concepts - Work with data preparation tools such as Tableau Prep or Power Query and demonstrate basic proficiency in SQL language for data access and profiling - Have exposure to data visualization tools like PowerBI and Sigma - Utilize basic finance knowledge of financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, etc. - Work with Agile development methodologies and ceremonies Qualifications Required: - 1-3+ years of Tableau Development experience required (Tableau certification preferred as either Qualified Associate or Certified Professional) - Hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting dashboard reporting solutions - Knowledge and understanding of designing and implementing report security solutions within Tableau Cloud and database-level security concepts - Experience with data preparation tools including Tableau Prep or Power Query and basic proficiency in SQL language - Exposure to additional data visualization tools including PowerBI and Sigma - Basic finance knowledge of financials statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, etc. - Experience working with Agile development methodologies and ceremonies Additional Details of the Company: Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities.
