About the role
As a Data Engineering/ETL professional, you will be responsible for designing complex ETL requirements and processes, implementing ETL process improvements, and working with Informatica code. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing complex ETL requirements and processes - Identifying, recommending, and implementing ETL process and architecture improvements - Testing, debugging, and migrating Informatica code - Developing test cases for Data Completeness, Data Transformations, Data quality, Performance, and scalability - Utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills effectively - Working with IICS / Informatica Powercenter - Collaborating with Snowflake as a data warehouse - Applying Data Warehousing skills and concepts - Demonstrating proficiency in SQL - Utilizing Python and its supporting libraries for data processing - Building cloud data solutions, with preference for AWS and familiarity with Azure or GCP - Implementing solutions utilizing streaming or event processing (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Pulsar, etc.) is a plus - Working with cloud SDKs and programmatic access services - Applying agile development practices, including DevOps concepts (IAC, CI/CD, etc.) Qualifications Required: - Bachelors in technology with 7+ years of data engineering experience - Experience in IICS / Informatica Powercenter - Experience working with Snowflake as a data warehouse - Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing - Experience with cloud data solutions, preferably AWS - Knowledge of agile development and DevOps concepts This role offers the opportunity to work remotely for a duration of 1 year, with a possibility of a short extension.
