As an Advanced Analytics Data Analyst in the Finance Group, you will be responsible for supporting the analytics and intelligence activities for the Performance Units and embedded Functions. Your role will involve applying advanced analytical skills across the Castrol Data Domain, working with business leads and various partners to lead change, adoption, and sustainability of Analytics & Intelligence Frameworks. You will play a key role in contributing to strategic transformation in integrated, scalable Business Intelligence, ensuring alignment with business leadership expectations. Familiarity with agile methodology and the ability to support projects as needed will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Build, deploy, and sustain scalable advanced analytics and AI solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes - Assist in managing and maintaining Business Intelligence, data analytics, and science tools within the Data Management Framework - Collaborate with business teams to design and develop optimization algorithms - Translate business scenarios into mathematical models and apply data analysis and modeling techniques - Design and build semantic data models to support business insights - Support the Data Architect in handling scalable data challenges for digital, Operational MI, and Analytics - Contribute to the execution of the Digital, Data & Analytics Change Backlog - Serve as a support resource for assigned projects within the Castrol digital agenda - Embed the data science toolkit in alignment with the business strategy - Support the skill-up of the business in data literacy as new digital tools become available - Help support the centralized datalake output for business consumption Qualifications Required: - Degree-level education in an analytical field, preferably Mathematics or Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience - Validated experience in delivering Data Analytics for business transformation projects - Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, and cloud architecture - Strong skills in Python, Power BI, Dax, SQL, SharePoint lists, Power App, Power Automate - Ability to apply advanced analytical techniques and data science methods - Demonstrable ability to innovate with new analytics and AI approaches - Basic leadership skills with a focus on successful deployment and value delivery - Strong influencing skills and effective communication abilities You will be working in a diverse team that values flexibility, parental leave, retirement benefits, and accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
