You will play a crucial role at bp Technical Solutions India (TSI) center in Pune by providing deep process engineering expertise and judgment to ensure safe, affordable, and lower emission energy delivery. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with Squad Leads to efficiently resolve all engineering-related issues - Implementing pragmatic solutions for risk management, production efficiency improvement, and maintenance - Supporting production facilities through troubleshooting and identification of optimization options - Keeping asset HYSYS models up to date and providing expertise in process safety assessments - Assisting in incident investigations, defect investigations, and hazard identification processes - Supporting regional Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Major Accident Risk (MAR) revalidation - Recording learnings in shared systems and escalating high priority lessons Qualifications required for this role: - Degree in Chemical Engineering - Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas/petrochemical industry, with 3 or more years in Production - Extensive technical understanding of process engineering and process modelling tools - Proven ability in applying engineering standards and practices - Fluent in English with knowledge of industry standards in Oil and Gas - Delivery-focused with effective project technical management skills - Ability to establish strong global working relationships - Experience in working within remote teams and collaborative delivery approach Additionally, the following skills are preferred and can be trained for: - Oil and gas processing flow scheme knowledge - Proficiency in flare and relief calculations, process equipment unit operations - Process modelling, simulation, data analytics, and interest in science - Accomplishments in risk management and contractor performance management - Demonstrated cross-functional engineering improvements In addition to the technical aspects of the role, bp fosters an inclusive and diverse work environment, offering benefits such as work-life balance, learning and development opportunities, health insurance, and more.
