About the role
Essential Requirements 5-8 years of professional software development experience. Strong programming skills in C or C++. Hands-on experience with at least one of the following signalling protocols: SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN, or TCAP. Experience developing software on Linux/Unix platforms. Good understanding of TCP/IP networking. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Experience working in a telecom or networking environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain telecom signalling applications. Implement and enhance signalling protocol functionality. Troubleshoot signalling and interoperability issues. Integrate applications with telecom network elements. Participate in software design, testing, and code reviews. Support production deployments and issue resolution. Nice to Have ENUM Number Portability (LNP/MNP) Diameter IMS or VoLTE Wireshark or protocol analysis tools Python or Shell scripting High Availability (HA) systems Cloud or container technologies Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile We are looking for a Software Developer with experience in telecommunications signalling and voice network technologies. The successful candidate will develop and maintain software that supports carrier-grade signalling, call routing, and number portability services. The candidate will work as part of a team of experienced engineers and developers, reporting to an Engineering Manager, and will play a key role in building and maintaining signalling applications that are critical to our client's voice network operations.
