Location - Padi, Chennai Business Unit - Heavy Vehicle Department - Engineering, Research & Development Vacancy - 1 Role Summary We are looking for an experienced ESC Calibration Engineer with strong expertise in vehicle dynamics, chassis control systems, and vehicle-level calibration for commercial vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for calibration, validation, and optimization of ESC and related vehicle stability functions to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and calibrate ESC, ABS, TCS, RSC, and related vehicle dynamics functions. Execute and analyse vehicle dynamics tests manoeuvres. Perform vehicle-level tuning, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Support system integration, verification, and performance optimization activities. Collaborate with software, system, and validation teams to achieve project targets. Prepare calibration reports and technical documentation. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in ESC/Vehicle Dynamics/System Calibration. Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, braking systems, stability control, and chassis control systems. Hands-on experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe) and ETAS tools (INCA, MDA). Proficiency in data acquisition, data logging, measurement systems, and test data analysis. Experience in commercial vehicle testing, calibration, and validation. Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and embedded control systems is desirable. Preferred Qualifications Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) Driving License preferred. Experience with truck/bus platforms and proving ground testing. Exposure to functional safety and vehicle homologation requirements is an advantage. Graduation from Engineering - Automobile/ Electronics related.
