Manager - Information System

Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) for the organization. Administer and ensure the effective operation of Sophos Firewall and Antivirus solutions, keeping them updated and secure. Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity issues to ensure optimal performance. Lead and manage a team of IT support staff, providing guidance and ensuring effective resolution of hardware and software issues. Coitize IT requests, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress to ensure the timely completion of projects. Monitor coordinate with different departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions. Manage security measures, addressing potential vulnerabilities and ensuring network and system security. Implement cybersecurity best practices, policies, and procedures to protect the organization s IT environment. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including data privacy laws, through secure Oversee user account management, including creating and deleting accounts, and password resets, Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of users by managing user workstations, software configurations, and access control. Supervise data backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in case of system failure. Provide regular updates and reports on system performance, IT incidents, resolved issues, and user requests to senior management. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Competency / Skills: Proficiency in managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. In-depth understanding of Sophos Firewall and Antivirus systems. Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex IT issues. Ability to think critically and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to translate technical issues into simple terms for non-technical users. A keen eye for detail when it comes to system configurations, user permissions, and security protocols. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and an ability to maintain secure systems. Knowledge of backup procedures and disaster recovery plans. Ability to work collaboratively within the IT team and across departments.
