About the role
As a hands-on Site Supervisor, your role will involve managing and monitoring soil investigation works at project sites. This will require your field presence, technical awareness, and strict supervision of drilling activities. - Supervise borehole drilling operations at the site - Maintain accurate bore logs with depth-wise strata recording - Identify and report soil/strata changes in real-time - Monitor and record SPT (Standard Penetration Test) values properly - Observe and document RQD (Rock Quality Designation) during rock coring - Ensure correct sampling procedures for disturbed & undisturbed samples - Track depth progress vs planned depth for each bore point - Ensure drilling continues to the minimum required depth into rock as per protocol - Coordinate with drilling agencies and report daily progress - Maintain daily site reports with clarity and accuracy - Ensure basic site discipline, safety, and workflow efficiency Qualifications required: - Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field - Must understand Bore log preparation, Soil classification basics, SPT procedure & interpretation, RQD basics - Physical presence on site is mandatory (no remote work) - Ability to handle multiple bore points and drilling teams - Strong attention to detail with no approximation or guesswork tolerated In this field-intensive role, you should be ready to join immediately and work on-site. Accommodation, food expenses, and on-ground support for site execution will be provided.
