Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Collateral Management within Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Investment Accounting, Derivatives, and Wealth Management and will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions. Experience in the Insurance domain, particularly with wealth and investment management platforms, is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
Perform business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement
Analyze collateral management workflows including margining, settlements, reconciliations, and dispute management
Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, and acceptance criteria
Perform data analysis, data mapping, and support system integration initiatives
Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and UAT activities
Coordinate with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC
Support production releases, defect triage, and business validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Investment Accounting, Derivatives, and Wealth Management
Ensure business requirements are aligned with regulatory and operational standards
Must Have Skills:
Candidates should possess working knowledge of Collateral Management
5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong domain expertise in Collateral Management
Good understanding of:
Investment Accounting
Derivatives (OTC & Exchange-Traded)
Margining and Collateral Lifecycle
Securities and Fixed Income products
Cash & Securities Collateral
Experience in business process modelling and requirements gathering
Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience writing User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, BRDs, FRS, and process flows
Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Insurance domain experience (Life Insurance or Wealth & Asset Management)
SimCorp Dimension exposure
Domain experience in
Investment Accounting
Derivatives
Wealth Management
Trade Lifecycle
Margin Call Processing
Cash & Securities Management
Reconciliations
Regulatory Reporting (preferred)
Understanding of Dynamic Hedging programs
Experience working with global financial institutions
Knowledge of Capital Markets regulatory frameworks (ISDA, CSA, BCBS, etc.)
Exposure to Findur or other Derivatives platforms.
Experience with Collateral Management platforms such as AcadiaSoft, Calypso, Murex, or similar.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Understanding of API integrations and data interfaces.
Experience with Azure, SQL, or cloud-based data platforms is an advantage
MBA (Finance) or CFA Level I/II is a plus

CBAP or CCBA
CSPO / CSM
CFA (Preferred)
FRM (Preferred)
