Lead - SAP-

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an SAP Lead ABAP professional to guide technical development across SAP projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

As the Lead - SAP, you will play a pivotal role in our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department, driving technical development activities for SAP implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, and support projects. Your expertise in ABAP development and SAP S/4HANA technologies, coupled with your leadership skills, will be instrumental in collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional SAP solutions.

Minimum 8 years of experience in ABAP development, with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA technologies. Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams, demonstrating excellent leadership and communication skills. Deep understanding of SAP architecture, design principles, and best practices. Expertise in ABAP programming, including OOP concepts, performance optimization, and data modeling. Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration, enhancement, and support projects is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to estimate, plan, and execute projects effectively. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in SAP projects is an advantage. Willingness to stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality delivery. Collaborate closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and develop efficient, scalable, and secure ABAP solutions, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Manage the technical aspects of SAP projects, including planning, estimation, and resource allocation. Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support to the development team. Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, standards, and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
