About the role
As a WW Commercial Forecasting Analyst at Bristol Myers Squibb, you will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven strategic decisions by developing accurate forecasts and providing actionable insights to support WW Commercialization & Forecasting initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, enhancing, and maintaining end-to-end forecast models, including patient-based, epidemiological, and scenario-driven models, with a strong emphasis on Forecasting of Pipeline assets in oncology. - Conducting analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and recommendations to the key forecasting assumptions/decisions. - Performing statistical analyses, data mining, and predictive modeling to uncover trends and correlations. - Partnering closely with Commercial Data Analyst teams to optimize business processes, synthesize data, maintain high-quality standards, apply automation, perform analyses, update business rules, present results, answer queries, and generate insights. - Collaborating with Business stakeholders to identify goals and KPIs, develop analytical frameworks, and ensure efficient forecasting processes. - Collecting real-world data from multiple sources to support business strategies and decision-making. - Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to team members. - Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Qualifications required for this role include: - 1-3 years' experience in a similar business analyst role, preferably within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry. - Bachelor's or master's degree in pharmacy, technology, or engineering, with a strong record of analytic and quantitative work. - Deep experience with short/long-term and Strategic forecast in Pharma industry. - Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques, predictive modeling, and forecasting methodologies. - Experience operating successfully in a complex organizational environment. - Strong verbal/written skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with and strategically impact senior leadership. - Strong Python expertise with hands-on experience in libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and related data science/ML packages. - Experience integrating Python models with visualization or reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or internal platforms. - Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, with proficiency in VBA and Macros preferred.
