Lead Software Engineer, PV Tech Lead

Job Summary The Lead Software Engineer / Technical Lead will serve as a key technical leader within Patient Safety IT, responsible for architecting, delivering, and operating technology solutions that enable critical Pharmacovigilance capabilities including signal detection, safety case processing, aggregate reporting, and risk management across existing and emerging Patient Safety products and platforms. This role combines deep engineering expertise, business alignment, and Engineering & Operations ownership, with accountability for translating complex Patient Safety requirements into scalable, secure, compliant, and high-performing digital solutions. The incumbent will provide technical leadership across the full solution lifecycle design, build, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with Product Managers, Architects, Validation, Quality, and global business stakeholders. The role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to influence architecture and delivery decisions across teams, and a commitment to driving measurable improvements in patient safety outcomes, operational efficiency, and platform reliability in a highly regulated life sciences environment.
