Manufacturing Excellence Officer

Job purpose - Lead and manage manufacturing excellence programs for the Plant. Interact with other plants and implement programs within the own plant. Experience - 2-6 years Key Job Responsibilities - Leads the Manufacturing Excellence and continuous improvement efforts at Plant in alignment with Plant and Corporate Goals.Deployment of Corporate initiatives (Lean, TPM / TQM / Six Sigma or other excellence initiative) at site and periodic gap assessmentLeading Business critical project (delivery, quality, efficiency etc) as assigned at plant to support organisation needs.People development through Training & coaching to ensure smooth execution of Mfg Excellence initiativesBenchmarking Best Practices from other plant and deployment.Ensuring efficient use of Manufacturing Excellence communication platforms, continuous improvement meetings, and external sources to build knowledge and cultural change within the site.Develops and Standardise Systems and ProcessesTakes initiative to generate new ideas within scope of responsibility Desired Competencies - Knowledge of Mfg Excellence methodologies (5S, Kaizen, OEE, TPM, etc.) and personal history of applying them to deliver business benefits within an organisationAbility to analyse, summarise and solve complex issues related to Quality, Delivery and EfficiencyAbility to run workshops with teams (e.g. Kaizen, VSM, Process Mapping, data collection, etc.)Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate well at all levelsExcellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills and organization skillsUnderstanding of Quality Management Systems and key quality tools (SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plan, etc) Job purpose - Lead and manage manufacturing excellence programs for the Plant.
