Job Title: Duck Creek Claims Consultant Experience: 5+ years Work Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full Time (C2H) Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days joiners preferred Experience: 56 years total, with demonstrable Duck Creek Claims implementation/support experience and strong .NET and SQL skills. Seniority: Mid-level consultant / developer expected to lead small technical streams and mentor juniors. Key responsibilities - Implement, configure, and customize Duck Creek Claims modules to meet client business requirements. Develop and extend Duck Creek functionality using Duck Creek configuration tools and .NET (C#) plug-ins/extensions where needed.Design, write, and optimize SQL Server database objects (stored procedures, views, functions) and queries for claims processing and integrations.Integrate Duck Creek Claims with third-party systems (billing, underwriting, document management, FNOL providers) using SOAP/REST web services and middleware.Support data migration and ETL for claims conversions (extract, transform, load design, validation and reconciliation).Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver fixes/patches following change management and deployment processes.Create and maintain technical design documents, mapping documents, unit test cases and runbooks.Participate in Agile ceremonies; estimate tasks, deliversprint commitments, and collaborate with business analysts and QA. Required technical skills - Duck Creek Claims hands-on experience with configuration, rules, workflows, templating and core claims features. .NET / C# development of plug-ins, custom services, and middleware components that extend Duck Creek.SQL Server T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, indexing, execution plans and database troubleshooting.Web services / APIs experience with SOAP and REST integrations (WCF, Web API).Windows server / IIS and Visual Studio development and deployment experience.Source control and CI/CD experience with tools such as Azure DevOps / TFS / Git and build/deploy pipelines.Unit testing and debugging ability to write unit tests and use debugging/profiling tools.Familiarity with XML, XSLT, JSON, and data mapping techniques.Knowledge of claims business processes (FNOL, claim intake, reserving, indemnity, subrogation, payments) and insurance domain terminology. Preferred / nice-to-have skills - Duck Creek Certifications (e.G., Duck Creek Claims developer/configurator).Experience with other Duck Creek modules (Policy, Billing) and end-to-end implementations.
