MEP Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION MEP ENGINEER Position: MEP Engineer Department: Projects / Engineering Project: Township Development Project Location: Neem Ka Thana Reporting To: Project Manager Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and technically sound MEP Engineer to manage and supervise Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works for a large-scale township development project. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, quality control and timely completion of MEP services as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage the execution of MEP works across the township project. Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services with civil, structural, architectural and other project teams. Review and interpret MEP drawings, layouts, specifications and technical documents. Ensure proper execution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, fire alarm, ELV and other MEP services as applicable to the project. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and vendors for smooth project execution. Monitor the progress of MEP works and ensure timely completion as per project schedules. Ensure all MEP installations are carried out as per approved drawings, applicable codes, standards and project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control of MEP works. Identify and resolve technical issues, site conflicts and coordination-related problems. Review material submittals, technical data sheets and shop drawings. Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly progress reports. Monitor material requirements, consumption and availability at site. Ensure compliance with safety standards and project HSE requirements. Coordinate with the billing and quantity surveying team for measurement and verification of MEP works. Ensure proper documentation, inspection requests, testing reports and as-built drawings. Attend project meetings and provide regular updates regarding MEP progress and issues. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline. Relevant experience in MEP execution and coordination. Experience in township, residential, commercial, infrastructure or large-scale building projects will be preferred. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, specifications and site execution. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and safety requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of relevant MEP software will be an advantage. Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
