Product Manager Mortgage Default Operations

Role Overview: As a Product Manager for Mortgage Default Operations at BSI Financial Services, you will own the product management of solutions and products related to default operations within US mortgage servicing. You will collaborate with various teams such as Engineering, Data Science, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Investor Reporting, and Compliance to define requirements and drive the delivery of features that enhance operational efficiency. Your role will involve translating ambiguous servicing workflows into structured, actionable specs that can be implemented. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with default operations teams (loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, investor reporting) to document current-state workflows, pain points, and system gaps. - Elicit, write, and manage business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI-assisted workflows in Azure DevOps/Jira. - Build process maps, swim-lane diagrams, and data flow documentation for end-to-end servicing workflows. - Facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions with US-based stakeholders. - Support UAT planning, test case development, and defect triage in coordination with QA and business teams. - Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in default operations performance. - Drive adoption of new features through training materials, runbooks, and stakeholder feedback loops. - Manage dependencies and coordinate across product, engineering, compliance, and operations. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst or in Product Management, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end requirements for software or operational feature delivery. - Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Strong process documentation skills including BRDs, user stories, process maps, swim-lane diagrams, and acceptance criteria. - Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent project/requirement tracking tools. - Comfortable working with data and analyzing reports using Excel or BI tools. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Acts with a sense of urgency and has a bias toward action and delivery.
