About the role
As the Manager - Manager-Mechanical Utilities at Bunge, your role is crucial in leading the Mechanical and Utilities activities at the plant to meet the Business requirements. Your main accountabilities include: - Acquiring and understanding the Project goals from Contract, specific documentation, and kick-off meetings. - Setting up procedures for the control of Discipline activities and defining the Discipline list of activities and deliverables. - Identifying projects that need to be contracted & sub-contracted, and tracking and maintaining records for projects. - Producing methodologies and design premises comprehensive of all necessary data. - Providing technical support to Project groups, Procurement, Subcontracting, and Construction activities. - Ensuring Equipment engineering support to different projects Tenders and job start-ups. - Overseeing Utility & Maintenance operations, setting engineering standards, and ensuring the smooth running of production at minimum cost. - Setting maintenance goals, managing spares & materials, controlling maintenance costs, and ensuring equipment safety inspections. - Mentoring subordinates, maintaining equipment maintenance databank, and monitoring departmental performance. In terms of knowledge and skills, you are expected to: - Use knowledge of Bunges business, structure, and strategy to develop innovative solutions. - Build partnerships, influence appropriately, drive results, and focus on key priorities. - Possess considerable experience in Concept, FEED, Detailed Design engineering, Project management, and EPCs. - Have expertise in mechanical and equipment, as well as Utilities like boiler, chiller, compressors, etc. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with First Class and at least 10 years of experience in project and Manufacturing industries.
