About the role
As an experienced Engineering Manager - DevOps and Cloud Engineering, you will lead enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, DevOps transformation, CI/CD automation, and platform engineering initiatives. Your expertise in Azure cloud technologies, GitHub/GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD implementation, observability, and operational excellence will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Build, lead, and mentor high-performing DevOps and cloud engineering teams. - Drive enterprise-wide DevOps transformation initiatives. - Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tools. - Lead cloud infrastructure initiatives on Microsoft Azure. - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. - Improve SDLC processes through automation, shift-left practices, and deployment optimization. - Drive observability, monitoring, reliability engineering, and operational excellence. - Collaborate with engineering, product, security, and operations teams. - Improve deployment frequency, lead time, platform stability, and incident management processes. - Establish engineering best practices, governance, and delivery standards. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering. - 3+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience. - Proven experience working in large enterprise environments. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. In addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate: - Strong enterprise-level experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering. - Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (Mandatory). - Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions (Mandatory). - Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. - Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and release automation. - Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies. - Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and SRE practices. - Experience driving modern SDLC and Agile engineering practices. - Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience. If you possess experience managing large engineering teams, exposure to platform engineering, cloud operations, security, compliance, and governance practices, and have been part of enterprise transformation programs, it would be considered as preferred skills for this role.
