About the role
As a Construction Manager for a high-rise commercial building, your role involves leading, supervising, and coordinating all construction activities to ensure timely execution, safety compliance, high-quality workmanship, and seamless coordination among contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. You will perform in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day site execution for civil, faade, MEP, interiors, and external development works. - Implement project plans, construction schedules, and sequencing strategies. - Monitor work progress against baseline schedules and identify delays or risks. - Conduct daily coordination meetings with contractors and site teams. - Review method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions. - Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and statutory requirements. - Manage faade installation, high-tech services integration, and vertical transport coordination. - Facilitate inspections, quality checks, and approval processes. - Prepare and maintain site records, daily progress reports, and dashboards. - Resolve site issues, design discrepancies, and interface challenges. - Support cost monitoring, verification of work done, and billing recommendations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. - 15+ years of experience in high-rise commercial/retail/mixed-use projects. - Strong knowledge of structural works, faade systems, MEP integration, vertical transportation, and finishing standards. - Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings. - Familiarity with construction management tools (Primavera/MS Project). Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs): - Achievement of construction milestones as per approved schedule. - Quality audit scores and NCR closure timelines. - Number of safety violations and compliance with HSE standards. - Accuracy of reporting and documentation. - Efficiency in contractor coordination and conflict resolution. - Cost variance control and timely certification of work progress. Skills & Qualities: - Strong leadership and team-management skills. - Excellent communication and coordination abilities. - Problem-solving and decision-making mindset. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to safety and quality.
