About the role
As a Technical Service Delivery Manager for the Design Review team, your role involves developing and executing the strategic vision for the team. You will be responsible for driving the achievement of annual budgets and resource utilization metrics set out by the IND product lines. Compliance with ISO standards such as 17025, 17020, and 17065 is crucial, and you will establish performance metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs for the team. Your duties will also include: - Managing the daily activities of the Design Review team to deliver services efficiently - Leading strategic growth initiatives through engagement with clients and stakeholders - Coordinating with internal stakeholders for Pre-Order & Post-Order activities - Implementing quality management systems and technical procedures - Recruit, onboard, mentor, and coach technical & administrative staff - Establishing competency frameworks and training programs - Fostering a culture of technical excellence and compliance within the team In addition to managing the Design Review team, you will also be involved in client and stakeholder management, compliance & accreditation, innovation & technical excellence. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting business development and nurturing client relationships - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing non-conformities - Identifying opportunities for new product development and leading technical research - Mentoring technical staff and staying informed on industry trends - Leading specific projects as required by SOA Management Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, O&G, or Metallurgy disciplines, with a masters degree preferred. You should have 15+ years of experience in technical services relevant to TIC business segments, particularly in Oil and Gas, Power, Process industry, Infrastructure/Construction. Technical competencies should include a demonstrated track record in leading design review teams, strong technical understanding of international standards & codes, and excellent communication skills. Your leadership behaviors should demonstrate a forward-thinking mindset, business development acumen, and a commitment to building engaged teams. You should be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to deliver with purpose, eliminate barriers, and adapt to evolving regulatory environments will be essential for success in this role.
