Senior Electrical Engineer - Water

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including power distribution (low and medium voltage), emergency power systems, and load calculations.

• Creating one-line drawings, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Performing design calculations for transformers, emergency generators, UPS, battery systems, cables, and lighting systems.

• Preparing cable schedules and panel board schedules.

• Developing plans for grounding, cable trays, power, duct banks, area classification, and lighting.

• Creating technical specifications and datasheets for major electrical equipment.

• Conducting technical bid evaluations and reviewing vendor drawings.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices for project execution and to ensure standard compliance.

• Innovating and improving electrical engineering design practices.

• Ensuring quality assurance, adherence to project schedules, and meeting client requirements.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience Required: 6 to 9 years.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and U.S. local codes and standards.

• Proficiency in Revit, and AutoCAD for electrical design and coordination.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Experience on U.S. based EPC or design-build projects is preferred.
