Byte Link Systems, Inc., a Katy, TX based IT Software Staffing Firm has multiple openings for JOB ID 12041: Software Engineer.

Job duties include:

Analyze user needs and then design and develop software to meet the needs. Recommend software upgrades for existing programs.

Create a variety of models and diagrams showing programmers the software code needed for an application.

Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing.

Document every aspect of an application as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.

Should have emphasis on all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle, gathering and analyzing requirements, design, development, testing and maintenance of software applications such as Java, .NET, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, C, C++,Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, AWS / Azure, JavaScript, Shell Script, Spring, AngularJS, SharePoint, etc.

Perform feasibility studies, and evaluate user requirements.

Must be willing to travel for setting up various systems to various clients at unanticipated locations within the United States for short term and long term durations.

Requires a Master’s degree in Comp Science, Sciences, Engineering (All Majors), Info Sys, Business Admin, and/or related fields. Salary offered ranges between $103,210.00 to $106,000.00/year. Full-time position at 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Travel and relocation possible to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States may be required.
