Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the operation and reliability of one of TikTok's most critical components - Videos, encompassing short videos, live streaming, and real-time communications. - Develop and maintain global infrastructure for multimedia transport, storage, and processing to serve billions of users worldwide. - Participate in global production systems management, including monitoring, emergency response, capacity planning, and optimization. - Create tools, automation processes, visualizations, and monitoring systems to facilitate the operation and optimization of the global infrastructure. - Contribute to and enhance the entire service lifecycle, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement. - Construct multi-geo infrastructure across the globe, manage service capacity across regions, and balance traffic and resources on a global scale.
