Snowflake Data Architect

We are hiring an experienced Data Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Spark to build and automate a modern payroll data platform supporting operations across 10 countries . The role focuses on designing scalable data architecture on the DAP 2.0 Snowflake platform , automating payroll workflows, and ensuring compliance with SOX and enterprise data security standards . This position requires a mix of data architecture, data engineering, and workflow automation experience. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Spark . Build a centralized data foundation layer on the Snowflake DAP 2.0 platform. Automate payroll data processing including: Regular payroll Off-cycle payments Statutory payments Ad-hoc payroll adjustments Develop automated validation and approval workflows. Ensure compliance with SOX controls and secure handling of payroll data. Follow SDLC best practices and maintain clean, maintainable code. Create technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and architecture documentation. Collaborate with business, payroll, and engineering teams. Required Skills Experience Proven experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer . Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake . Excellent skills in: SQL Python Apache Spark Experience building automated data pipelines and workflows. Experience working with payroll, HR, or financial data systems. Understanding of data governance, security, and SOX compliance . Strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with enterprise payroll platforms.
