About the role

As a Solution Architect at Cadence, your role will involve defining and proposing integrated ELM solutions to cover customer processes, ensuring alignment with strategy and technical feasibility. You will collect, formalize, and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed technical and functional specifications for ELM systems. Additionally, your responsibilities will include designing system architecture to address data management, process automation, integration with systems like PLM/ERP/MES, and ensuring scalability for future requirements. You will oversee implementation phases, including stakeholder communication, technical governance, risk mitigation, and delivery to the business roadmap. Facilitating workshops, blueprinting sessions, and user acceptance testing with customers will be crucial to ensure adoption and change management. Mentoring consulting teams, leading presales activities, and supporting sales with solution options and implementation proposals will also be part of your role. Collaborating with Product Management and R&D to bring field-specific improvements into product roadmaps will be expected. Furthermore, you will review and establish quality improvement processes in the entire implementation lifecycle and actively contribute to the dynamic team culture. Qualifications & Experience: - 4 to 7 years of experience in PLM/ERP implementation and solution architecture - Post Graduation or Graduation in computer science or mechanical engineering Competencies Required: - At least 4 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect, technical consultant, or in similar roles in an enterprise software implementation environment - Good understanding of Engineering Process and Workflows in typical manufacturing companies - Hands-on consulting experience with PLM/ERP or an enterprise software implementation, integration, and roll-out - Strong English skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varying technical expertise - General knowledge and experience in distributed collaborative multi-tiered enterprise applications - Experience with various technologies including Web application development technologies, Storage infrastructure, Authentication and email systems, Relational databases, Cloud technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Operating Systems, etc. - Production use of Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps - Good understanding of process-related software tools like Jira, Confluence, etc. - Familiarity with CAE process and tools will be an advantage - Understanding of High-Performance Computing and queuing systems like SLURM - Strong problem-solving skills - Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time At Cadence, you will be contributing to meaningful work that solves challenges others can't.
