About the role
As a Solution Architect at Cadence, you will play a crucial role in defining and proposing integrated ELM (Engineering Lifecycle Management) solutions covering customer processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Collecting, formalizing, and analyzing business requirements and translating them into detailed technical and functional specifications for ELM systems. - Designing system architecture to address data management, process automation, integration with systems like PLM/ERP/MES, and scalability for future requirements. - Overseeing implementation phases, including stakeholder communication, technical governance, risk mitigation, and delivery to the business roadmap. - Facilitating workshops, blueprinting sessions, and user acceptance testing with customers to ensure adoption and change management. - Mentoring consulting teams, leading presales activities, and supporting sales with solution options and implementation proposals. - Collaborating with Product Management and R&D to incorporate field-specific improvements into product roadmaps. - Reviewing and establishing quality improvement processes in the entire implementation lifecycle. - Actively contributing to the dynamic team culture. Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - 4 to 7 years of experience in PLM/ERP Implementation and Solution Architecture. - Post Graduation or Graduation in computer science or mechanical engineering. Technical/Functional Competencies expected: - At least 4 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect, technical consultant, or in similar roles in an enterprise software implementation environment. - Good understanding of Engineering Process and Workflows in typical manufacturing companies. - Hands-on consulting experience with PLM/ERP or enterprise software implementation, integration, and roll out. - Strong English skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively at different technical and experience levels. - Knowledge and experience in distributed collaborative multi-tiered enterprise applications. - Familiarity with a range of technologies including web application development, storage infrastructure, authentication and email systems, relational databases, cloud technologies, AI and ML, operating systems, version control systems, and process-related tools. - Familiarity with CAE process and tools will be an advantage. - Understanding of High-Performance Computing and queuing systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
