Principal Product Engineer

Role Overview: You have the opportunity to work as a Principal Product Engineer in the Digital and Signoff Group (DSG) at Cadence. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic environment collaborating with innovative R&D and Customer Engagement teams to influence the development of software tools for advanced chip design platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize strong knowledge of IC design and physical design flow - Employ EDA tools such as Cadence Innovus, Cadence Genus, Cadence Cerebrus with strong debug skills - Understand physical design constraints including power, clock, placement, routing, and timing - Proficient in scripting languages like Tcl, Perl, or Python - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including physical design, Synthesis, and signoff - Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Manage tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously - Test, validate, and deploy Innovus software for key customers - Engage with Research and Development (R&D) to discuss results and plan next steps for Innovus' features Qualifications: - BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech or equivalent degree in relevant field Additional Company Details: Cadence is a pivotal leader in electronic design with over 30 years of computational software expertise.
