About the role
As a Technical Quality Engineer at Cadence, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality semiconductor IP is delivered to top electronic product companies worldwide. You will collaborate with design teams, engineering management, CAD, and methodology teams to enhance processes and deliver superior products to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Actively participate on the global IP Quality Team - Represent the Cadence Quality Team to customers and partners - Implement improvements to flows and procedures across the global organization - Define and maintain quality procedures for multiple design teams - Generate, maintain, and interpret quality metrics - Conduct Root-Cause-Analysis and identify Corrective Actions - Hold Post-Mortem reviews, summarize results, and communicate effectively - Assist design teams in preparing Failure Analysis reports - Maintain quality certifications such as ISO9001 and ISO26262 - Support participation in external semiconductor foundry quality programs Qualifications Required: - Education: MSEE - Experience: 5+ years - Hands-on experience in analog or digital IC design/verification or silicon fabrication quality assurance/control - Experience in defect management and analysis processes like RCA, 5Why, 8D is a plus - Strong communication, quality consciousness, and sense of responsibility - Strong problem analysis and teamwork skills Join Cadence in their mission to solve challenges others can't, and be part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in the semiconductor industry.
