About the role
As a System Administrator with at least 3 years of experience in System Administration specialized in Redhat Linux, SUSE Linux, AIX, and Cent OS, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Installation, configuration, and administration of RHEL 4.x/5.x/6.x/7.1, SLES 10/11/12. - System Administration tasks including System Builds, Server builds, Installs, Upgrades, Patches, Migration, and Troubleshooting. - Good working knowledge of administering LDAP and DNS servers. - Experience and proficiency in working with Python, Dockers, and Kubernetes. - Proficiency in working with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet. - Sound understanding of networking concepts and hardware support experience. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure. - Collaborative mindset with strong teamwork skills, exhibiting a personable and professional demeanor. - Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Additionally, it is preferred if you have a good working knowledge of Foreman, ELK, and Grafana. In this role, you will be a member of the Core automation team and will be required to work on automating operations to manage Unix infrastructure globally. You will also be involved in automation projects and global rollouts.
