Experience: 10-12 Years Experience-4-8 yrs Location: Hyderabad (HYD) About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Principal/Staff Software Engineer to serve as the senior technical anchor for our India engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in application and platform engineering, architecture, cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, and scalable software platforms. This role requires strong technical leadership, architectural decision-making capabilities, and the ability to establish engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable, cloud-native applications and platforms. Lead system design discussions and define engineering standards. Develop and review application architecture, design patterns, and code quality. Build and maintain production-grade SaaS, workflow, data, or integration platforms. Drive API design, integrations, and platform modernization initiatives. Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges. Own technical decisions and drive initiatives in ambiguous environments. Mandatory Skills Strong backend and platform engineering expertise. Advanced system design and software architecture experience. API design and integration experience. Cloud-native application development experience. Experience building large-scale production SaaS or platform products. Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving abilities. Ability to perform architecture and code reviews. Preferred Skills Microsoft Azure expertise. Data platform or Lakehouse experience. AI/LLM application development. Multi-tenant SaaS architecture. Event-driven architecture and distributed systems. DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices. Experience with CRM, ERP, Workflow Automation, Field Service, or Vertical SaaS platforms. Programming Languages Strong candidates with experience in any of the following: Python TypeScript / Node.js C# Java Go Cloud Skill Requirements Azure preferred. AWS or GCP experience is acceptable for candidates willing to ramp up quickly on Azure.
