Position: Engineer – Electrical Engineering Department: Engineering / Design Location: Oragadam, Chennai Qualification: M.Sc/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in Industry Software Experience: PSCAD/ETAP/EMTP/DIGSILENT, CDEGS Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical & Electronics Engineering postgraduate with exposure to electrical simulation tools, strong presentation skills, and active participation in technical symposiums, seminars, or project exhibitions. The candidate will support engineering design, simulations, analysis, and documentation. Key Responsibilities Assist in electrical system design, analysis, and engineering calculations. Perform simulations using electrical engineering software and interpret results. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation. Support the engineering team in project execution, testing, and commissioning activities. Participate in design reviews and technical discussions. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Analyze technical data and provide recommendations for improvements. Maintain engineering records, drawings, and technical documents. Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies. Required Qualifications M.Sc/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE). candidates with 5 years and more experience may apply. Exposure to electrical simulation software such as ETAP, PSCAD, EMTP or similar tools. (CDEGS exposure is optional) Good understanding of electrical machines, power systems, and transmission & Distribution system. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Profile Active participation in technical symposiums, paper presentations, workshops, or engineering competitions. Experience presenting technical topics before academic or professional audiences. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations and technical reports. Strong learning attitude and willingness to work in a team environment. Knowledge of renewable energy systems, industrial automation, or power quality studies will be an added advantage.
