Windows Server /Linux Location: Bangalore / Chennai Experience: 512 Years Your Role As a Windows Server Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and operational excellence. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to manage server environments, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvements. In This Role, You Will: - Manage and support Windows Server 2019 and 2022 environments. - Perform server installations, configurations, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management. - Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs). - Ensure patch compliance using WSUS and Windows Update management processes. - Monitor system performance, availability, and overall infrastructure health. - Troubleshoot server, operating system, and application-related issues. - Support vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and compliance initiatives. - Manage VMware virtual machines and perform day-to-day virtualization administration. - Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting. - Participate in incident, change, and problem management activities in line with ITIL practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a stable and secure infrastructure environment. Your Profile Must-Have Skills - Strong experience in Windows Server Administration (2019/2022). - Hands-on expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. - Experience with WSUS and Patch Management. - Fundamental knowledge of VMware vSphere administration. - Experience with Microsoft Defender and Qualys Vulnerability Management. - Solid understanding of security hardening and vulnerability remediation. - Expertise in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. - Experience with Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes. - Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and operational support. Preferred Skills - Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools. - Experience supporting large-scale production environments. - Understanding of ITIL best practices and service management frameworks. - Strong documentation and communication skills.
