About the role
Description: Position Notes: Object Storage description Installs, Manage, Configure, Administer, maintain and supports, storage arrays for customers; involves hands-on management of Object storage devices. Implementation and administration of DELL EMC ECS or similar Object storages. Hands-on experience on Storage Monitoring Accountabilities, Alerts Notification Storage Capacity forecast, Planning reporting Hands-on experience on CLI of Storages. Design and implementation of storage migration. Strong Knowledge of Storage reporting, Performance analysis factors of Storage Arrays Resolving complicated Hardware cases and Liaising with Hardware Vendor/support escalate severity issues Proactively monitor the environment for issues or opportunities. Configure Manage ESRS ' Proactively identify opportunities to improve procedures and system performance. Storage Management and Reporting Tools Experience in troubleshooting SAN, complex computing platforms, storage systems including SAN and NAS arrays, SAN switches and cutting-edge technologies involving virtualization, distribution, and high availability Have practical experience in administering storage with Linux, Windows, VMWare, Oracle, SQL platforms, Follow ITIL practices Provide 24x7 support of customers and customer operating system infrastructure, up to and including on-call rotation. Positive communication skills with experience in Customer facing roles and leading from front during any issues and requirements. Prioritize tickets based on severity/urgency, breadth of impact, time in queue, and specific customer, providing guidance to others on priorities and what constitutes a major issue. Should be a good team player Capable of handling escalation independently Identify potential solution(s) to issue and determine any risk.
