About the role
Strong experience in WLAN (WiFi) firmware and driver development for IEEE 802.11 standards including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax (WiFi 6/6E). Handson development and maintenance of WLAN firmware, MAC/PHY control layers, and device drivers. Deep understanding of WLAN protocol stack, including MAC layer operations, management frames, power management, rate control, roaming, and security (WPA2/WPA3). Experience working on hostfirmware interfaces (PCIe, SDIO, USB) and integration with Linux/Android networking stacks. Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming, lowlevel debugging, and performance optimization. Experience with RTOSbased and baremetal systems, including concurrency, memory management, and interrupt handling. Involved in feature development, customization, performance tuning, and bug fixing across firmware and driver layers. Proficient in hardwaresoftware integration, bringup, and debugging using logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and WLAN sniffers. Knowledge of regulatory compliance, RF coexistence (BT/WLAN), and power/performance tradeoffs is a plus.
