Education: BSc / MSc/BE/BTech in IT Responsibilities Maintain and optimize Laptop, Workstations, Servers, Storage and Networks Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Server administration: This includes configuring and maintaining servers, operating systems, and hypervisors. Monitoring network performance and identifying and resolving issues. Backing up and restoring data. Ensuring systems are secure and protected against cyber threats. Providing technical support to users. Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines. Develop technical documentation and manuals Automate repetitive tasks using scripts Identify process gaps and prepare improvement plan Ensuring ITSM process are followed Must Have Proven working experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator or relevant experience Advanced knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook SharePoint Thorough understanding of networking concepts like DNS, DHCP, Active Directory VLAN Knowledge of Windows Server Administration Knowledge of HP Secure print solution will be an added advantage Knowledge of HR systems like time and attendance, payroll, leave management hosted in cloud or vendor premises or on prem will be an added advantage. Good to have knowledge of file transfer tools like File Catalyst Good to have knowledge of license management tools for engineering applications like Catia, MATLAB, ANSYS etc. Good to have knowledge of IT project management Good Communication skills Excellent team player with positive attitude and desire to learn and develop new skills Engineering or equivalent Degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant field.
