About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test cases The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address software defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance Responsibilities:Manual Testing:Create, maintain, and execute detailed manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and provide insights into the overall quality of the product Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues promptly Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified and resolved defects do not reoccur Automated Testing:Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and other software components Implement automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report on test coverage and quality metrics Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline Collaboration:Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects of the software Process Improvement:Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the QA team Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies to improve overall product quality and team productivity Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Proven experience in manual testing, test case design, and defect tracking Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar Familiarity with version control systems (e g , Git) and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and databases Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
