About the internship: Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Architecting UI Logic: Design and implement complex user interfaces using React.js. You will be responsible for the 'Brain' of the UI, managing state, data flow, and complex logical operations on the client side. 2. Analytical Implementation: Translate intricate business problems into functional frontend features. This requires a deep understanding of how data structures interact with UI components to ensure speed and accuracy. 3. Performance Optimization: proactively identify bottlenecks. You will profile the application to minimize re-renders and ensure smooth performance across different devices and network speeds. 4. Code Quality & Robustness: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. You will build reusable libraries and components that the team can leverage for future features. 5. Collaborative Development: Work closely with backend teams to define JSON schemas and API contracts. Your input will help shape how data is delivered to the frontend. 6. System Integration: (If applicable based on skills) Assist in bridging the gap between the UI and our cloud infrastructure. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures (arrays, trees, graphs, and hash maps), algorithms, and time and space complexity (Big O notation). 2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 3. Hands-on experience with React.js is mandatory. 4. Candidates must have completed a minimum two-month React project as part of a professional internship or a collaborative academic group project. 5. Personal projects, self-learning tutorials, or clone applications will not be considered sufficient to meet the React experience requirement. 6. Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and the JavaScript object model. Preferred qualifications: 1. Familiarity with Python and Django. 2. Knowledge of MongoDB or NoSQL database concepts. 3. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Scheduler. 4. Understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVC, Microservices, and Event-driven architecture, along with the role of the frontend within these systems.
