Product Owner- IT Asset management (servicenow)

Role Overview: As a Functional Architect for IT Asset Management (ITAM) in the ServiceNow environment, you will be responsible for the functional architecture, process landscape, and implementation of the existing ServiceNow product ITAM. Your role will involve planning, coordination, and control of product functionalities in collaboration with the platform owner, the platform architect, and business stakeholders. You will continuously work on improving the overarching module implementation and provide dashboards and reporting on the process KPIs of ITAM processes. Additionally, you will offer consultancy and support to the business in planning, process design, evaluation, and implementation of new and existing ITAM product services. Your responsibilities will also include the functional and technical documentation of modifications and configurations, conducting information sessions for stakeholders, and developing internal communication/marketing measures for the product ITAM. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for the functional architecture, process landscape, and implementation of the ServiceNow product ITAM - Plan, coordinate, and control product functionalities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders - Continuously improve the overarching module implementation - Provide dashboards and reporting on process KPIs of ITAM processes - Offer consultancy and support to the business in planning, process design, evaluation, and implementation of ITAM product services - Document modifications and configurations both functionally and technically - Conduct regular information sessions for stakeholders - Develop and update internal communication/marketing measures for the product ITAM - Author themes, epics, and user stories and define features for processes and functionalities within the ITAM product Qualifications Required: - University degree or equivalent recognized degree - At least 6 years of experience in the ServiceNow environment - At least 4 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Software Asset Management, and asset accounting processes - Very good skills and experience in implementing and maintaining ITAM environments - Strong procedural/functional and technical understanding of a CMDB, CSDM, SAM processes, asset integration interfaces, and the ServiceNow data model - Ability to independently model structured processes - Experience working successfully in an agile environment - High motivation in quality documentation preparation - Intercultural experience - Independent, solution-oriented, and structured way of working - Interest in new and innovative solution approaches - Friendly, communicative, and team-oriented demeanor - Comfortable with public speaking situations - Basic travel readiness - Very good English skills in writing and speaking Additional Company Details: The company is looking for a candidate with total 8-12 years of experience, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in the field and 4 years specifically in ITAM and asset accounting processes.
