Interface Manager

Job Title: Interface Manager (PMC) Experience: 1220 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Electrical / Mechanical Industry: PMC / Engineering Consultancy / Large Infrastructure & Building Projects Job Description We are looking for an experienced Interface Manager to manage multidisciplinary technical and project interfaces across design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities. The candidate will act as a key coordination point between the Client, PMC, Design Consultants, Contractors, Vendors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate interfaces between MEP, Civil, Structural, Architectural, ELV and specialist systems . Coordinate with Client, PMC, design consultants, contractors, vendors and third-party agencies for timely resolution of interface issues. Review engineering drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, specifications and design changes from an interface perspective. Identify scope gaps, clashes, dependencies and overlaps between different disciplines and packages. Maintain and monitor Interface Matrix / Interface Register / Interface Control Sheets (ICS) and ensure timely closure of open issues. Lead multidisciplinary interface and coordination meetings and track action points through closure. Coordinate design requirements with site execution teams to minimize clashes, delays and rework. Ensure effective integration of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV/BMS/IBMS and other building/utility systems . Coordinate package-level dependencies during construction, testing, commissioning and handover. Support project planning by identifying interface-related risks, constraints and dependencies affecting the project schedule. Coordinate with stakeholders for technical approvals, design modifications, constructability issues and commissioning readiness. Ensure project activities comply with applicable technical specifications, quality requirements, safety standards and project procedures. Candidate Profile B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering discipline . Minimum 12+ years of experience in large-scale construction/engineering projects. Strong experience in Interface Management, MEP Coordination, Design Coordination, Engineering Management or Package Management . PMC / Project Management Consultancy experience preferred. Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design and construction interfaces. Experience in Data Centers, Semiconductor, Pharma, Battery/EV, Industrial, Airport, Metro, Hospitals, Commercial or other complex projects will be preferred but is not mandatory . Strong stakeholder management, coordination, communication and issue-resolution skills.
