About the role
Position Title: Senior Data Analyst Function: Commercial Analytics Department: Global Business Operations Location: Navi Mumbai, India Hours: 2 PM to 11 PM IST 5 days working Position Summary We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Analyst with strong technical depth and business understanding, particularly in pharma or regulated industries. This role blends data engineering, analytics, and consulting, with a focus on building scalable data solutions and driving insights for decision-making. Key responsibilities include Data Analytics & Insights: Perform advanced analysis, translate complex datasets into actionable insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs. Data Engineering & Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and scalability. Visualization & Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports (Power BI or equivalent), enable self-service analytics, and enhance KPI frameworks. Systems & Integration: Work with enterprise systems (SAP, SQL databases), support data extraction and integration, and contribute to IT/analytics projects. Business & Consulting Engagement: Act as a bridge between business, IT, and analytics teams, translating problems into data-driven solutions with a consulting mindset. Education Required: B.Sc / B.Tech (or equivalent) Experience Required: 6 to 10 years Skills and Abilities: Strong SQL expertise (advanced level) Experience with Power BI (or similar visualization tools) Solid understanding of ETL and data pipeline development Experience working with SAP data environments Knowledge of data modeling and data engineering principles Domain Experience: Preferably from pharma / life sciences / regulated industries Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial analytics is a plus Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work on full-stack analytics (data to insights) Good understanding of data engineering + analytics integration Stakeholder management and communication skills .
