Key Skills: Embedded Software Development, C/C++, Microcontrollers (STM32, ARM Cortex), RTOS/Linux, Medical Device Standards. Roles & Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for medical devices using C and C++. * Collaborate with hardware, quality, regulatory, and systems teams to ensure firmware meets design, safety, and compliance requirements. * Develop firmware on Linux, RTOS, and embOS RTOS platforms for real-time and safety-critical applications. * Work with microcontrollers such as STM32 and ARM Cortex for device control and communication. * Perform debugging, unit testing, and integration testing using standard debugging tools. * Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate effectively within teams. * Ensure compliance with medical device software lifecycle standards such as IEC 62304 and quality systems like ISO 13485. * Maintain software documentation, traceability matrices, and DHF (Design History File) components. * Apply knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards throughout the development lifecycle. * Communicate technical progress, risks, and solutions clearly to internal stakeholders. Experience Required: * 3 - 10 years of experience in embedded/firmware development. * Strong experience in C and C++ programming for embedded systems. * Proven expertise working with microcontrollers, preferably STM32 and ARM Cortex families. * Experience with RTOS environments (Linux, embOS, or equivalent). * Hands-on exposure to debugging, testing, and firmware optimization techniques. * Experience in medical device software development with a clear understanding of regulatory compliance. * Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and software documentation practices. * Experience in maintaining traceability, DHF artifacts, and audit-ready documentation. * Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and regulated development environments.
