Principal Database Administrator

You own the administration and performance of critical Oracle database systems. ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot database performance on production systems during major outages.Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software (12c, 19c, or later).Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades minimizing downtime.Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.Perform audits to ensure adherence to organizational security policies.Required Skills12+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA on critical production databases.Expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Data Guard.Strong proficiency in Performance Tuning.Experience with Database Security principles.Working knowledge of AWS and Azure environments.Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).Experience troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and data corruption.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of partitioning and advanced indexing strategies.Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python for automation.Experience with Oracle Golden Gate (OGG).
