Python Engineer

JOB POSITION Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Software Engineer. Associate is responsible for collaborating with data architects to implement data models and ensure seamless integration. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Design and develop data ingestion pipelines to extract data from various sources to transform, aggregate and enrich the data. Implement Data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security and compliance. Design scalable, secure and efficient data pipelines on AWS and snowflake aligning with business requirements and technical standards. Design and develop data warehousing solutions using Python and Snowflake. Optimize AWS and snowflake costs by implementing cost effective solutions and monitor the expenses. collaborate with cross functional teams( Development, Operations and Business) to ensure seamless integration. Troubleshoot and resolve complex queries in Snowflake, Python and AWS. Ensure security and compliance best practices ,implementing controls and Monitoring. Provide data analytics solutions using Python, AWS and snowflake Stay up-to-date with innovations, features and best practices. QUALIFICATION Requires a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Data Engineering or similar combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background and minimum of 3-4 years of experience in SQL/Python. EXPERIENCE 3-4 years of SQL and Python experience SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES SQL: Proficiency in SQL, including querying, data modelling and performance optimization Data Warehousing: Experience with Data warehousing concepts, including data modelling, ETL and data governance. Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration such as ETL, ELT or data pipelines Data Analytics: Familiarity with Data Analytics ensuring data quality and availability. In depth knowledge on Python/Pyspark. Having knowledge on AWS and Snowflake is an added advantage.
