Digital Technical Support Analyst

As a Telematics Product Expert at Caterpillar Inc., you will be an integral part of the global team dedicated to shaping a better world through innovation and sustainable solutions. Your role will involve providing worldwide support for the Cat Digital portfolio, focusing on both on-board and off-board issues. Your responsibilities will include: - Being a subject matter expert in Telematics Product, staying up-to-date with all digital products and applications - Collaborating with CCS Tier 2 team members to identify and address product issues - Conducting basic triage, troubleshooting, and analysis of hardware failures - Communicating with Quality Service Engineers to drive continuous product improvements - Timely resolution and follow-up with customers, dealers, and internal teams - Managing requests based on service level agreements - Providing technical input to digital product and application support teams - Developing and improving overall product knowledge with support engineers - Interacting confidently and providing support to external groups such as business partners, customers, or dealers - Building strong customer relationships through open communication, delivery on commitments, and feedback/improvement Additionally, you will be responsible for other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management. The basic qualifications for this role include: - A college or university degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience - At least 4 years of experience in technical support work - Exposure to enterprise environments like cloud, apps, and infrastructure Preferred candidates will also have experience in product support, dealer/customer support work, demonstrated technical troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, and telematics support expertise.
