IT Analyst Applications (UX/UI Designer)

Role Overview: As an IT Analyst Applications (UX/UI Designer) at Caterpillar Inc., you will be a part of the Applications Development & Intelligence Automation -CAT IT Division. Your role will involve creating intuitive, user-centric experiences in collaboration with cross-functional teams and focusing on usability, accessibility, and aesthetics in design solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and user needs. - Design and deliver user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and aesthetics. - Apply user-centered design principles and research methodologies to guide design decisions. - Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. - Act as a robust user advocate throughout the product lifecycle. - Conduct and analyze user research, usability testing, and feedback loops to validate designs. Qualification Required: - 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in product environments. - Solid portfolio of design projects. - Strong UI design skills with meticulous attention to visual and interaction details. - Proven experience applying user-centered design principles in real-world projects. - Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design. - Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Experience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers to implement designs. - The position requires working a 5-day week schedule in the office. - Shift Timing: EMEA Shift: 01:00PM - 10:00PM IST.
