Engineer - Java GCP

We are seeking an experienced Java Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and be passionate about building scalable applications in the cloud. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and maintain Java applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability. Implement and manage cloud-based services and solutions. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Ensure the reliability and security of applications in the cloud environment. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 5-10 years of experience in software development with Java. Strong understanding of GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery. Proficient in cloud architecture and design principles. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with RESTful API design and development. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
