AWS Technical Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior AWS Cloud Architect at CBTS' Enterprise Service Delivery Center, you will play a key role in expanding the Cloud Services Operation. Your primary responsibility will be to design cloud-based solutions using AWS best practices, integrating with 3rd party vendors, and ensuring a robust and scalable framework for cloud service offerings. Your expertise in AWS cloud architecture engineering will be crucial in automating tasks, designing end-to-end application and data security models, and providing migration and integration support for various platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design cloud-based solutions using AWS best practices and integrate with 3rd party vendors - Automate tasks via python scripting and build/test AWS environments for business requirements - Design end-to-end application and data security model for cloud applications and VPC's - Provide migration and integration support for on-prem applications, cloud providers, and other platforms - Develop cost-optimized solutions for high-usage applications and systems - Develop cloud strategy documentation and write standards for AWS deployments - Architect and implement security schemes for internal and customer access of AWS systems - Develop solutions for cloud performance monitoring and reporting - Provide continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure support for cloud-based services Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of relevant project leadership and hands-on experience in designing AWS solutions - AWS certification - Associate/Professional Solution Architect - Proficiency in internet architectures, web, application, and database components - Experience with cloud automation and container tools like bash scripting, Ansible, Docker, Chef, or Puppet - Strong working knowledge of AWS CloudFormation and YAML/JSON framework - Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Boto3 Library - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong communicator, decision-maker, and creative thinker (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
